The teacher in charge will work in collaboration with the Aquatics Team Leader and Director ensuring the integrity, quality and high standards of the program are consistently maintained and improved.

About the Centre
Brunswick Baths has an all year round heated outdoor 50m pool, 20m indoor pool, splash pad, play pool, steam, sauna and spa. We also have an excellent health club, group fitness, personal training and many ofther classes (eg Adrenaline). We have a diverse community and are part of the Active Moreland team (6 facilities managed by the YMCA).

About the Role
Are you an experienced swim teacher ready to take the next step? As a Teacher in Charge, you'll utilise your excellent communication and mentoring skills. Provide consistent feedback to staff, meet deadlines and conduct assessments.
To be a Teacher in Charge at Brunswick Baths, you'll need a minimum of two years' experience as a swim teacher. Be able to teach all levels (with correct qualifications eg Infants & Pre-School). Have a thorough knowledge of swimming strokes and have the ability to be able to correct strokes and offer assistance with drills etc.
You also need good knowledge of Links and be happy to cover and take on additional shifts as required.
All Teachers In Charge are required to have regular swim teaching shifts as well as their Teacher In Charge shift/s.
